There is something there. Quick call in the social scientists to figure out which cockamamie theory fits.
Here is the thing. In order to measure gravity's influence or even see what kind of "point excitation" exists in a gravitational field, we Humans, have to model it. Then we have to measure it. It takes so much energy aimed at so small a space to measure for that excitation (graviton) that we would create miniature black holes, which would instantly evaporate at formation. The explosion would be fairly small, (New Jersey disappears, so who cares?), but that would vaporize the experiment, the apparatus, and the experimenters. Any measurement, they acquired, would be lost in the evaporation/explosion.
The Planck limits are where that evaporation of New Jersey happens.
So, we, Human beings, have to find another way to measure. How we believe, shapes our experiments. This is what Doctor Fatima speculates. I happen to agree, with her, that bias filters our approach, but we can use observation to rule out such things as Flying Spaghetti Monsters and Modified Newtonian Dynamics. (MOND).
That leaves us with WIMPS, MACHOS, Axions, and "Look Martha, Aliens!" I happen to want to test for WIMPS.
We need an apparatus the diameter of Earth's orbit to test for wiggles in low frequency gravity waves to check for WIMPS. It would cost a billion dollars per satellite. It would take 4 satellites. A byproduct would be a laser that can burn holes in ICBMs. Just saying, I'm a practical person. What's more practical than blowing up a war rocket before it reaches you?
